  I was scammed out of a $600 ring for less than $30 last week for "the weight of the gold". The rings value "new" is $600, and I do not think giving it up for what I did was the smartest decision. These people will rip you off if they know you don't know what you're doing. I should have reacted to the red flag when the girl who offered me the small amount of money for the ring then took the change to give me right out of her own wallet. Sketchy business.
